  1. Drain the tofu and put in a tofu press or under your heaviest books (wrapped in several towels first if using books) and press for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Slice the tofu into thin strips. In a large, shallow bowl, combine the olive oil, yeast, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and then dip the tofu in the oil blend, covering each side.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat, and top with the tofu. Cook each side about 4 minutes until golden.
  4. Toast your bread, add the toppings you prefer, don't forget to add sriracha! And enjoy as either an open faced sammy or regular sandwich.
