Heat your oven to 350 degrees, and line an 8" baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Then add the chocolate chips, stirring often, until melted together. Remove from heat, add the sugar, coffee, and vanilla, and stir until sugar absorbs.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Then slowly add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture, about 1/3 at a time. Fold in the pecan halves.
Spread the brownie batter into your prepared pan, pressing down with the back of a spoon. Dust the top with salt (I used lavender salt - use what you have), and then bake.
Bake for 35 minutes, and remove them from the oven. They will be bubbly when you remove them! Let them cool and set for about 30 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
