Travel Tips and How to Eat Vegan in The Netherlands and Belgium

I love cooking, writing, and traveling, and sharing these things with you.

A vegetarian since 1994 and vegan since 2011, I’ve been posting my own recipes on this site since 2015, and have several travel blogs as well, featuring the best vegan options across the U.S. as well as fun things to do while you’re visiting.

Originally from Dallas, I fell in love with the art of cooking and entertaining during my New Orleans and Nashville years. I’m convinced that no other cities on earth can hold dinner parties like those friendly and feisty locales. There’s nothing quite like a delicious, homemade meal, music, laughter, and great conversation to bring people together.

Since 2022, after years of vacations in the Land of Enchantment, my husband and I have put down roots and now split our time between North Texas and New Mexico, absolutely cherishing every day that we get to spend in the mountains. That said, you'll find a lot of blogs on this site dedicated to the best restaurants and things to do in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Abiquiu, and surrounding communities. New Mexico is truly a special place, and is still my favorite destination on earth.
